Welcome to my personal blog for sharing observations and musings of the Wild Around Us. I live in Alexandria, VA, and much of my focus in this blog is on observations of the natural world in my current home bio-region, and beyond.
Whether we live in an urban, suburban, or rural area, wild and wildness are all around us, not bound to a specific place. And we are part of it; nested in it even.
